This is an inventory of the fashions who have appeared within the American edition of Penthouse magazine and have been both named Pet of the Month or Pet of the Year from September 1969 to the present.[1][2] Pet of the Year names are in bold kind and are sometimes featured within the January concern of the year for which they are chosen. Unlike Playboy, it may be several years before a model turns into "Pet of the Year" after their preliminary centerfold. No model was selected in 1985.

Contrary to what has been written over the years by various media, the first Pet of the Year was not Evelyn Treacher (Treacher was on the cover of the first American version of the journal, September 1969 and was named the first Pet of the Month). The Pet Of The Year selection for the American edition of the journal was not introduced until the May 1971 challenge. A couple of months later in the September 1971 subject, the first Pet of the Year was chosen and pictured on the cover, the winner being Stephanie McLean.[3]
